Literal DJing on themes of intrigue, mystery and paranoia while adding nuance and musical ambiance at the premiere party for the new HBO comedy series Bored To Death on a roof top loft in Manhattan.

I got a sneak peek so that I could prepare my sneak attacks. Watch the show and listen close and you’ll hear how this set came together. Clues and cues are not just in the soundtrack, but are also found in the dialogue.

I had a minute with Jonathan Ames and Fiona Apple where I offered congratulations on their accomplishments.
