Grand Central Translation | A mix of selections from the '04 Grand Central Records catalogue
This great label that opened a lot of doors for me over in the UK allowed me to have my way with a box of 12"s and a few LPs and here's what happened.
I translate the diversity in sounds & styles with segues.
Grand Central Records closed up shop and there are about 10 of these available on Earth (according to the internet): http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0001LYEZU/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&qid=1271621805&sr=8-3&condition=new - there are some on there for dirt cheap too. If you want the CD quality, there you are.
A lot of thought and work went into this. If you know me for classics or smooth hip hop & R&B sets, get this and file under, "Innnnntresting?!?!"
My "cult" mix. Consider this a Hip Hop dream...scenes can change in a mix.
Ring the alarm.
